Marline Barberena is a Nicaraguan-American model and beauty queen who was crowned Miss Nicaragua 2014. She represented Nicaragua at the Miss Universe 2014 pageant. Born Marline Del Carmen Barberena Peugnet on May 24, 1987 in Miami, Florida, USA, she has one younger brother named Alan. She received an associate’s degree in business administration and she worked briefly for Apple. She rose to fame after competing in the 2013 Nuestra Belleza Latina pageant, and went on to win the title of Miss Universe Nicaragua 2014 beauty pageant.
