Saskia de Brauw is a Dutch artist and model who has appeared in campaigns for many important fashion houses and designers such as Versace, Chanel, Isabel Marant, Yves Saint Laurent, Loewe, Sonia Rykiel, Givenchy, Prada and Giorgio Armani. She has appeared on the covers of Italian, French, Dutch, German, Russian, Japanese, and Korean Vogue, Numéro, Dutch Elle, V, i-D, and Dazed. She has also appeared in editorials for Italian, American, French, British, Russian, Japanese, German, Korean, and Chinese Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, W, i-D, LOVE, V, Numéro, Dazed, and Interview. Brauw has also worked with top fathion photographers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Steven Meisel and Riccardo Tisci. Born on April 19, 1981 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, into a family of lawyers, Brauw started modeling early in her life but left modeling at 16 to study photography and textile design at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
